I'M BORED

Omg, ever since the start of eoys, I've been looking forward to the end of eoys, but now that they've ended, I'm so BORED! The past 4 days were spent sleeping, checking my email obsessively every 5 minutes, and basically shaking my leg and twiddling my thumbs, waiting for something to happen - ANYTHING! And then I came to school today, and I basically did pretty much the same thing.

QUESTION: Which is worse - being bored at home, or being bored at school?

In any case, I've been submitting tributes in those SYOC stories, and I've been playing with the idea of writing another fic, but I really can't be bothered anymore. I have no inspiration, no motivation, I'm just dead here. THERE'S NOTHING TO DO!!!!!!!!

So I'm actually supposed to be doing debate now? But I'm waiting for my seniors to come online, and we all know Janelle won't be coming online anyway. Its a stupid topic imo - THBT sovereignty is an outdated concept. Ummm..... what?!??!? I'm even getting sian of debate. Something's wrong with me. -.-

Ahahahaha, freedom at last. Feels good, doesn't it? To celebrate, I went out with Stella, Xiaohui, Vinita, Sophia and Isabelle for macs and frolicks. Yum! :P Frolicks is THE BEST! If I had enough cash, I'd eat it everyday, I swear. But its quite inconvenient to go all the way there?

Anyway, when I got home, my dad just nagged me. About how he doesn't want me to go out to much, how I shouldn't be socialising so much at my age, yada yada yada. He's been doing this since P4, so its just becoming boring and meaningless. Every time, he swears left right center that I should wait till I get older, but hello! I get older with every year he nags me, and I'm still not allowed any freedom.

I just got this insane vision halfway through his nagging (he didn't even notice me zoning out) where I'm like, 40 years old, an old maid, and he's some ancient chikopek, and he's going all "Sarah ah....... I tell you, you cannot go out so much..... No boyfriends until you're older! Must focus on career....." See, that's what happens when you're such a pushover. But seriously, its not like I can tell him to go to hell right in his face right? He'd probably kill me! -.-

Art today was just killer. I'm pretty sure I'm going to fail. Its so frustrating! Its like, I can see this vision right in my head of what I want to draw, which is perfect for the theme, but when I start actually drawing it with the pencil, the standard drops by like, half. But its okay, it still looks pretty decent. Then, I start colouring. And that just ruined my picture totally. So yeah, an F9 is in my future... :(

So, I'm just going to go cheer myself up with ANTM (omg, cycle 15!) and guess the sketch. :)

In case you haven't noticed, I've got a NEW SKIN! Hahahahahaha. My friend Stella helped me make it. Thanks Stella! :) But I did the Banner. Awesome, no?

Anyway, its halfway through eoys, and although I really should be studying for my science paper tomorrow, I really can't be bothered. Whatever self-discipline I had flew out the window some time back. I'll just study later. :)

Yeah, and I would like to take this chance to promote my fanfiction account. My pen name's KatnissIsTheLove. Yeah. I've written 1 poem and 1 multi-shot story. So I hope you like! :) I'm also pretty active in those submit-a-tribute stories, but currently, the stories haven't really started yet. Don't worry though, you can bet that I'll be right here shamelessly promoting the story when its up! :D

HEYO! Sorry, I haven't been posting much. I'm a bit..... preoccupied at the moment? I've been studying for EOYs. ALOT. The parental pressure is insane. And when I'm not studying, I've been writing fics.

I've gotten a sudden burst of inspiration, so I've already co-written one poem with Hazel, and written another Annie Cresta three-shot. Go check it out! Sighs, I'm sorry, I haven't been blogging a lot. What can I say? I've been mugging for my exams, like the little nerd that I am. Not that its been paying off. Its HCL common test tomorrow, and I'm 70% sure I'm gonna fail. And 100% sure I'm not gonna get an A. At least I'm sure I know my stats. -.-

On the brighter side, its YOG! :) I was watching the opening ceremony last night. Why can't our NDP be like that? Especially the part with the torch, where the guy ran through the shallow water. So magical! In any case, my school's hosting the Czech Republic. Do you think they'll be there tomorrow? I hope so...... I missed their flag being called in the opening ceremony cos of the stupid commercial break. :/

Oh yeah, and I'm uber happy for debate. I got in the mgs team! hahahahahah. I wanted captain though, but they thought I had enough responsibilities, what with being on exco and everything. :(

Anyway, I'm going back to mugging for Chinese. Sometimes, I question why we do this at all. Mug so hard, kill brain cells, and whats it all for? A measly TEN MARKS. That's right. TEN. Its all we can study for. The rest of the paper can't even be studied. Its all the shit, like comprehension, or complete the sentence. No wonder everyone fails. -.-"

Addressing all spammers

Okay, yeah, so I noticed there are a lot of spammers suddenly popping up. Idk if you're the same person messing around or what? But I don't give a damn. I'm flattered that you're all so interested in such a random stranger like me, but really? NO. I don't wanna be your gf, I'm not gonna start raving about how cute or hot my ex-bf is (cos you can't compare anyway) and if you think I "need to see a school counseller" then just stop reading, please. For the sake of both our sanities.

And... how did my blog leaked out anyway? Cos if some of the spammers are who they are suggesting they are (i.e. people who know my ex-bf) then uhhh, how the heck did you get my blog url? Cos I definitely did not tell him my url. Okaaaaay....

Let me make this clear. I'm not against spamming, or random people going on random blogs posting random stuff. I'm just not that comfortable with the nature of many of the posts, which are clearly inappropriate for a "little girl" of age 13. Like seriously guys? I'm not going out with you, and probably never will.

So please, just keep the comments fun and light hearted, yeah? :)

I know we broke up a long time ago. And I know we'll never get back together anymore, it'll be too awkward. But I can't help it, I still like you, you know? I feel bad, since I was the one who initiated the break up. But its like... I was really confused at that time, I guess? I think I still am now. But I realise how much I miss the way things were. If you didn't have a gf now, I would actually suggest getting back together. But I would never steal your chance of happiness with another girl like that.

I actually have no idea what I'm feeling now. I guess, as my first love, you'll always have a special place in my heart? Maybe I'll always have that soft spot for you. Idk, I think I'll just wait it out, and decide what to do if you and your current gf ever go your separate ways.

I think my toes are freezing to the point of dropping off... Idk why, but everytime I'm sick, my feet start getting so cold, even though the rest of me is feeling warm. Anyway, school today was...... school? Haha, nothing much happened. Chinese, PE (Trivia fact #1: Omg, did you know Mrs. Tng's baby's due THIS WEEK?), recess (Trivia fact #2: Without Joslyn around, the clique seems so... quiet!), Chemistry (Trivia fact #3: YOU JUST GOT PAPER CANCER! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA), IT (bahhh, no freaky trivia facts for this one) and History, which was side-clutching, body-doubled-up funny, as usual. :)

Does anyone know how to make SAFE gunpowder? Like, something that'll go BOOMZ, and will project a 'bullet' out, but is not physically harmful to the body? Its for some crappy Chemistry thing. Speaking of Chemistry, does Ms. Liang really think we got no life? Whole day "I don't know... Why don't you go find out and blog?" I think she said that 2-3+++ times today. Its so irritating. If we know, or have the means and time to go find out by ourselves, then we don't need her anymore right? Can just fire her and give us a self-study period. God knows we need the self-revision more than we need Chemistry.

Does anyone understand Chem anyway? I have no freaking idea what Ms Liang's talking about. The more she talk, the more I don't understand! Sigh. That's life I guess. Maybe this is what they mean by "Teach less, Learn more". Ms Liang teach less, we will learn more! Hahahahaha, I'm feeling so retarded now. :)))

Omg, I'm so freaking tired right now. Just came back from that NUS workshop thing... hahaha, so fun. ;)

We were telling lame jokes the whole way back... Like... Have you heard the story about butter? No? Well, that's because it hasn't been spread yet! XD And the Annoying Orange jokes made an amazing comeback. Now, not only am I apricot, I'm apparently Kopi-Tay too. :) The newest fruit has to be Casmine though... CHESTNUT!

Weirdly enough, I think the sec2s were louder than the sec1s. Haha, so much for being good role models for our juniors. Its not our fault their so guai! But then, we're also quite guai lah... We weren't the ones who got our handphones confiscated!

I can't wait for debate tomorrow. We should be picking u14s team! And our new coach, Damien, is coming tomorrow. Can't wait. :)

Day 6 - Stranger

Okay. -takes a deep breath, calms down-

In case you were wondering, it was elearning today. And I just finished! At 10.30am! 3hours before 'school' dismisses! Hahahahaha, its making me hiiiiiigh!

But I don't think I did very well. English was sucky. Obviously. Hellooooo, who ever heard of a cloze passage that only accepts 1 'correct' answer? Well, sorry for not having the same brain as you, Ms-Anonymous-Quiz-Setter! -glares evilly-

Science was stupid as well. Some crappy pamphlet thing (I just did a brochure) about some career to do with science... I chose Sociologist though. It sounds interesting enough. I think if I don't end up a Lawyer, I might consider Sociology. :)

And Math... well, I just skipped Math actually. We're supposed to hand in on Thursday, so no rush. And besides, I have to finish early to do History project with Casmine, Shuxuan and Sarah Tang.

Speaking of them, they're being very slow! Supposed to come at 10am. Now what time already???? Lol. They're on their way over now (hopefully) so I'm just bored, waiting for them. :)

I know a lot of people think you're bossy or rude, but I know better. You're so overprotective of your siblings, sometimes you may tell them to do things, or raise your voice a little cos they're not listening, but its all for their own good. You even take the beatings for them when your dad gets angry. And I love you for that!

Woah, I feel so HIGH today. :)

Which is surprising cos I stayed up till almost midnight last night, talking to debate friends and fooling around online. Well... officially I was doing gonghan. But you don't need 3h to do gonghan, do you? O.O

Today was pretty epic. I actually understood HCL lessons for once, and PE was kinda fun too. We kept shrieking, and getting home runs. Chem was boring, as usual, although I always feel super smart after chem (cos I'm the only one who GETS it). IT was hilarious... Who knew just running through a script could cause so much laughter? And History was........ History. -.-

Oral was freaky too. The topic has nothing to do with the theme of Gender, Fame and Poverty at all! And I got Mrs-freaking-Cumar. She kept asking me questions! But I shan't go on ranting about oral, there are some of you here who haven't taken it yet. :/

Wheeeeee, tomorrow there's e-learning! But I gotta wake up early anyway, must finish quickly, then can film history. But expect me to be online! ALOT! :D

HELLO again! Yawn, its 10.30pm, and I'm falling asleep in front of my computer. I think I'll just keep this short, and go to sleep right after I finish blogging.

Just finished discussing the humans project with Casmine and Shuxuan. We're all going to invade Shuxuan's house tomorrow. Hehehe, I'm the teacher and LKY at the same time. :D

Oh, and I came home super late today. My legs are all sore from stupid skipping during debate. We're freaking debate for God's sake, we don't skip! But then, whatever Mrs. Tng says we have to do (in this case, skip for charity), we gotta do, right? But its quite retarded, IMO.

Anyway, good news, PL got invited to MGS u14s! Its a bit overdue, and we don't have much time to prep, but at least we can be sure we weren't boycotted! This just makes it a tad more believable that the missing Hwach invite was a misunderstanding, or an overlook on their part, rather than a purposeful non-invite.

The Speak Good Chinese thing today was goooood. For the first time in my life (and probably the last), I won a freaking PRIZE! Unbelievable right? I know... But its totally cheat one. They gave a 3-choice question (A, B and C), and some girl answered B and got wrong. Then XiaoHui answered A and got wrong. So duh, its definately C right? So the guy was all "whoever raises their hand up first gets it" and lo and behold, I'm the fastest. :)

In fact, the only reason I went was cos of the Kino voucher. I gave my dad the shirt, and just threw the magnet onto the fridge, and I pretty much dumped the 2-person pass to the Asian Civilisation into the bin. Its just the freaking KINO voucher I want... GIMME NOW!

Okay, I realise this is getting long... I'm going to sleep. I won't be updating on weekends. But I'll update again Monday! :)

Thanks for always being there when I need you, be it when I'm having problems in school, problems in CCA, or just problems in general. Thanks for being a good sounding board for my debate ideas, and for talking me through years of torturous math. I really appreciate all that you've done for me.

Mommy, thanks so much for helping me with my Chinese, although I know I'm a lost hope. Your neverending patience and perseverance in teaching me this dreaded subject, even though I know you don't like it much either, is admirable, and I love you for that. :)

Daddy, you've been my rock for the past 13/14 years of my life. You're always there, so steady, I know I can rely on you whenever I have a problem. Also, I wanna thank you for being so slack, laidback and relaxed in your parenting, allowing me to have my own freedom to work, play, make mistakes and LEARN.

See? I told you I'd be consistent! Although whether I'll stick to that promise a few weeks from now, in the middle of CTs, is another question altogether. :P

Gosh, I'm so freaking tired of school. We're halfway through the term, and I'm already longing for the holidays. Not like they'd offer much rest, considering that EOYs are in Week2 of Term4!

I think the whole aim of schooling is to tire out all of us teenagers, so we won't act up and cause chaos. Because seriously, they're overloading us with homework, projects, assignments and unreasonably short deadlines! Like, for example, our integrated humanities project. 2 weeks, and we're supposed to script out and film a 10min long video about the Merger and Seperation of Singapore. Like, really? Do they really expect us to do that? Not to mention with our wayyy busy schedule. My team, for one, cannot find a single day that all of us can come down, and have to split the filming into part. How screwed up is that?

In any case, the topics for Term3 are horrible as well. Like Math! A whole common test of graphs, graphs and more graphs. Its gonna be pure torture. Or geography. We're learning pollution. What are the major categories of pollution? Water, Air, Land and Noise (cue: JOSLYN! :D) Effects? Health problems. How easy is that? Of course, that just means that they'll put some random weird no-link questions in our test... Like last term's - What are the three main ingredients in Chicken Pie? WTH? This is GEOGRAPHY, not HOME EC! -.-

So... I should probably be studying now... I'm off to battle with quadratic graphs. Ttyl! :)

HELLO WORLD

Wow, another blog... I guess I should explain myself, and why another of my blogs just pop up out of the sudden? Its been so long since I've been blogging, but I suddenly had this urge to blog. However, if you go back to youknowyouloveme-sarah.bs.com, you'd realise that 1. ITS DEAD and 2. ITS SPAMMED. Don't ask me how the link got out, but it did. And people -narrows eyes- keep posting random, offensive comments on the tagboard. So I just gave up and decided to start afresh. :D

So anyway, with a new blog comes new commitments, right? So... I promise to blog at least once a week, preferably twice or thrice. I give you permission to slap me in school if I don't. At least for the first month of so... :)
